Sian worked as Golwg's Chief Executive, where she developed new income streams, brand and marketing and relaunched the Golwg360 news website in 2020. As Executive Director of Alaw, Sian develops strategies that combine business objectives with creative solutions to a wide range of clients, including Llechi Cymru, Cadwyn Clwyd and Amgueddfa Cymru. Sian has extensive experience of Public Relations work, after a period as a journalism lecturer at Cardiff University she worked within the UK Government press office.

She is based in Ruthin.
